Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to med-surg patients, including assessment, planning, and delivery of nursing care per physician orders and unit protocols.
- Administer medications and treatments, including IV therapies, wound care, and routine post-operative care; monitor patient status and respond to changes in condition.
- Document care in the electronic health record; communicate with the multidisciplinary team; participate in discharge planning and patient education.
- Maintain patient safety, infection control, and adherence to AHA BLS guidelines during 12-hour night shifts.
- Support care coordination and smooth transitions of care through effective handoffs and collaboration with the team.

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in Georgia (or eligibility to practice in Georgia)
- BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- Recent Med Surg RN experience
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts (12x3 schedule)
- Ability to meet holiday coverage requirements as described
