Overview
Registered Nurse, Labor and Delivery (L&D) in Clearlake, California. Start date: 10/12/2026 for a 13-week travel assignment with 36 guaranteed hours per week. Weekly pay range: $2,709–$2,839. Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care for obstetric patients and newborns from labor through postpartum and early neonatal care up to 28 days of life; collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care
- Monitor maternal-fetal status, manage labor progress, administer medications and therapies as prescribed, and participate in delivery when indicated
- Perform newborn assessment, stabilization as needed, and provide postpartum education and support to families
- Document in the electronic medical record (EPIC) and ensure accurate, timely communication with the care team
- Maintain patient safety, respond to emergencies, and participate in discharge planning and follow-up education

Requirements
- Current California RN license
- Current BLS certification; recertified every two years
- NRP certification required; hospital conscious sedation certification required; initial certification within six months of employment and recertified every two years
- AWHONN Fetal Monitoring certification required within six months of employment and recertified every two years
- 3–4 years of recent labor and delivery/postpartum experience; strong newborn stabilization skills; nursery experience appreciated
- EPIC experience required
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
- Basic computer skills and the ability to work in a night-shift labor and delivery setting
