Responsibilities
- Provide and coordinate comprehensive nursing care for obstetric patients across antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum periods, including emergency situations and circulating for C-sections.
- Monitor maternal and fetal status, administer medications as ordered, manage pain, and respond to obstetric emergencies to ensure patient and family safety.
- Collaborate with the obstetric team, anesthesia, neonatal staff, and other disciplines to plan and execute individualized patient care plans.
- Supervise and delegate care responsibilities to ancillary personnel commensurate with scope of practice; support from or collaboration with CNAs as applicable.
- Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the medical record; educate patients and families regarding care plans, procedures, and post-discharge instructions.
- Ensure adherence to safety, infection control, and regulatory standards; participate in shift handoffs and post-event debriefs as needed.

Requirements
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts (Nights)
- Experience providing nursing care in labor and delivery across antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum periods
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Proficient in clinical documentation and patient/family education
- Willingness to participate in a travel assignment with a defined contract duration (18 weeks)
