Overview
Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery (L&D) in Roswell, New Mexico. This travel temporary assignment starts on 10/12/2026 for a 36- or 48-hour per week schedule with nights (4x12). The assignment is on an 11-bed LDRP unit delivering couplet care. Weekly pay ranges from $2,623 to $2,805. There are no guaranteed hours for this contract.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct, safe nursing care to laboring patients, supporting vaginal delivery and C-section recovery
- Monitor maternal-fetal status, triage as needed, and assist with emergency interventions
- Deliver couplet care and newborn assessments, including thermoregulation and hypoglycemia monitoring
- Support breastfeeding and lactation, phototherapy, and infant identification procedures
- Collaborate with respiratory, radiology, social services, rapid response, pharmacy, and other disciplines to coordinate care
- Document care in Epic accurately and timely; ensure compliance with unit policies and patient safety standards

Requirements
- Licensed RN: current NM or Compact license; licenses pending but must be obtained prior to start
- Certifications: BLS and NRP required; STABLE listed
- Experience: minimum 1 year of L&D experience; charge experience preferred
- Charting: Epic experience required
- Additional: ability to work nights; every other weekend coverage; may float to like units within scope; fingerprints required for travel contracts; 50-mile local radius restriction; pre-approved time off up to 1 day
