Overview
Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery (L&D) in Roswell, New Mexico. Start date: 10/12/2026. Travel - temporary assignment for Weeks. Weekly pay range: $2,011 to $2,066 per week. Not guaranteed hours. Shift: 3x12 Nights. Work setting: LDRP unit in a community hospital.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to laboring mothers and newborns, including support during vaginal and cesarean deliveries
- Support couplet care: mother and newborn room-in, breastfeeding support, neonatal assessment, thermoregulation, and hypoglycemia management
- Postpartum and post-op C-section recovery, triage of obstetrical patients, and monitoring for perinatal complications
- Perform newborn care tasks: assessment, phototherapy when indicated, and assist with circumcisions as needed
- Chart patient data and care plans using Epic; collaborate with interdisciplinary team and rapidly respond to changing patient needs

Requirements
- Active RN license (New Mexico) or valid compact license accepted; must be obtained prior to start
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience
- Certifications: BLS and NRP required; STABLE listed
- Epic charting experience
- Unit experience in LDRP or similar obstetric setting; ability to provide labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum care
- Ability to work nights in a 36- or 48-hour weekly option and to float to like units within scope as needed
