Overview
Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery, Templeton, California. Travel assignment starting 10/12/2026 for 18 weeks, weekly pay range $2,635–$2,811 per week, guaranteed hours 36 per week, shift 3x12 nights, in a Short Term Acute Care Hospital.

Responsibilities
- Plan and provide nursing care for antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum patients and their families, including emergency situations and C-section circulation.
- Assess fetal and maternal status, monitor amniotic fluid, vaginal bleeding, and recognize/act on abnormalities; manage perinatal emergencies.
- Manage pain control during labor and support alternative pain control methods when appropriate.
- Assist with epidural catheter placement and monitor fetal and maternal status during placement and after medication administration.
- Educate patients and families across all stages of perinatal and postpartum care, using age- and culture-appropriate approaches; complete accurate, timely documentation.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team and supervise/delegate care to ancillary staff within scope of practice.

Requirements
- Current RN license in the state of practice (California) – Required
- Education: Associate Degree in Nursing; Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Experience: Minimum two years of recent Labor & Delivery experience
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS); Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP); Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Course; AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification; EPIC experience
- Additional: LDRP model experience; no on-call requirements during this assignment
