Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to adults undergoing interventional radiology procedures and post-procedure recovery in an IR clinical area.
- Monitor patients during procedures and post-procedure periods; manage telemetry monitoring and assess rhythm disturbances.
- Administer medications, monitor vitals, and coordinate care with IR physicians, technologists, and nursing colleagues to ensure safety and quality.
- Document care accurately, participate in care planning, and support adherence to critical pathways and safety standards.
- Assist with scheduling and logistical coordination for stress testing; participate in shift handoffs and maintain clear, up-to-date charting.
- Maintain professional standards, participate in quality improvement activities, and support a positive patient and team environment.

Requirements
- Licensure: active Registered Nurse license in Massachusetts
- Experience: minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology nursing experience
- Certifications: current BLS; ACLS certification required
- Telemetry/competency: passing Telemetry Competency Exam is required; ongoing ECG/telemetry proficiency expected
- Onboarding tests: pass Dysrhythmia (20 questions) and Medication (20 questions) tests administered by the client via Zoom prior to assignment; passing score of 85% on the first attempt (no remediation or re-sit)
- Pre-employment process: coversheet required at time of submission; onboarding is conducted with stated study guide and tips
- Additional notes: no local travelers accepted (must reside outside a 50-mile radius); orientation is biweekly; documented professional development activities encouraged
