Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care to critically ill adults in the ICU, applying current evidence-based practices.
- Monitor patient status, interpret monitor data and lab results, and respond to changes in condition.
- Administer medications, manage IV therapies, and operate or supervise ventilatory support per orders.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including physicians, respiratory therapists, and support staff to develop and implement care plans.
- Maintain meticulous documentation in the electronic health record, ensure safety and infection control, and advocate for patient and family needs.
- Participate in care coordination, discharge planning, and patient education to support transitions of care.

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in Georgia or eligibility for licensure in Georgia.
- ICU/critical care nursing experience preferred or demonstrated capability in a high-acuity setting.
- Ability to work a 3x12 night shift schedule in a hospital-based ICU environment.
- Willingness to undertake a 13-week travel assignment in Austell, GA.
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills; ability to function effectively within an interdisciplinary team.
