Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and provide ICU patient care aligned with the unit’s age population and standards of care.
- Monitor patient status, administer medications, interpret monitors, and respond to clinical changes.
- Collaborate with physicians, allied health staff, and the nursing team; document assessments and interventions in the electronic health record (Epic experience strongly preferred).
- Perform ICU nursing procedures, support ventilated patients, manage lines and drains, and respond to emergencies with appropriate interventions.
- Educate patients and families about plan of care, discharge planning, and safety measures; maintain infection control and patient safety practices.
- Ensure accurate charting, quality of care, and participation in performance improvement activities.

Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse license to practice in California
- BLS (American Heart Association) required
- ACLS and PALS certification required within six months of hire
- Minimum 2 years of documented ICU experience and/or completion of an approved ICU training course
- EPIC experience required
- Vaccinations as a condition of employment; medical or religious exemptions may apply
- Ability to work a 3x12-hour day shift schedule (6:00 AM–6:30 PM) and adapt to the ICU environment
