Responsibilities
- Deliver direct nursing care to a patient population in the ICU, following established standards of care and the nursing process
- Monitor patient status, interpret assessments, and respond promptly to changes in condition
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed; operate and troubleshoot critical care equipment
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other disciplines to coordinate comprehensive care
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff; delegate tasks as appropriate
- Document care plans, interventions, and patient responses; ensure accurate, timely charting and compliance with safety protocols

Requirements
- Active RN license in California
- ICU/critical care nursing experience preferred
- BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred
- Ability to work 12-hour day shifts and 36 hours per week in a high-acuity setting
- Willingness to participate in a travel assignment for approximately 13 weeks
