Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient nursing care in the ICU per established standards of care and the nursing process.
- Collect and analyze health data, develop and implement care plans, evaluate progress, and adjust interventions as needed.
- Coordinate care with interdisciplinary team members; supervise and direct activities of nursing staff; support discharge planning.
- Document care and patient outcomes accurately in the electronic medical record (EPIC) and ensure data integrity.
- Educate patients and families, promote safe practices, and provide compassionate, evidence-based care in a healing environment.
- Delegate appropriately and oversee the duties of assigned nursing staff to maintain safe, efficient care delivery.

Requirements
- Active RN license in the state of practice (California); BSN preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification from an approved vendor; required.
- ACLS and PALS certifications (AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS; AHA-PALS or ARC-PALS) required.
- At least two years of recent nursing experience in ICU or acute care settings.
- EPIC electronic medical record experience required.
