Responsibilities
- Provide direct bedside nursing care to geriatric patients, including assessment, monitoring, and care planning
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders; monitor for adverse reactions and document appropriately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to coordinate care, discharge planning, and family communication
- Perform accurate documentation in the electronic health record and ensure compliance with hospital policies
- Monitor patient safety, fall risk, oxygenation, and response to therapy in a high-altitude setting, with escalation as needed
- Adapt plans of care based on changes in patient condition and maintain clinical competency in geriatric care

Requirements
- Associate degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Colorado, or ability to obtain prior to start date
- Basic Life Support (BLS); First Aid certification; BLS and First Aid may be obtained upon hire
- Bilingual in Spanish is preferred
- Not accepting any RTO (no scheduled time off during assignment)
- Must be healthy enough to safely function in a low-oxygen environment at high altitude (8,000 feet)
