Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated RN-level nursing care for ER patients following established standards of care and the nursing process.
- Collect relevant data, perform focused assessments, analyze findings, and develop and implement a care plan.
- Monitor patient progress, evaluate outcomes, and adjust interventions as needed; collaborate with the team to ensure safe, effective care.
- Supervise and direct activities of assigned nursing staff, delegate appropriately, and coordinate care with other disciplines; ensure accurate documentation in the patient record.
- Provide patient and family education, participate in discharge planning, and work with the care team to support safe transitions.

Requirements
- Current registered nurse license in the state of practice (California)
- BLS certification from an approved vendor; ACLS and PALS via approved providers (AHA/ARC)
- EPIC electronic health record experience
- Minimum 2 years of recent ER or acute care nursing experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Ability to work in a hospital setting with variable scheduling
- Vaccinations as required by organizational policy; E-Verify participation
