Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for an individual patient or assigned group, using established standards of care and the nursing process.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care; document in the electronic health record; ensure timely responses to changes in patient condition.
- Supervise and direct activities of assigned nursing staff; coordinate care with physicians, case management, and other disciplines.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed; monitor effectiveness and patient safety; intervene to prevent complications.
- Participate in discharge planning; provide education to patients and families; promote health and safety in a healing environment.
- Delegate appropriately, maintain clinical standards, and support a collaborative, patient-centered team approach.

Requirements
- Active RN license in the state of practice (California)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor
- ACLS certification from an approved vendor (AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS)
- At least two years of recent experience in acute care, with emergency department exposure
- EPIC EMR experience required
- BSN education preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced ER environment and a 3x12-hour day shift schedule
- US work authorization

Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Certifications
- Current RN licensure for the state of assignment
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification (AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS)
