Responsibilities
- Provide direct, patient-centered care to emergency department patients following established protocols and standards of care.
- Perform triage, initial assessment, continuous monitoring, and documentation; administer medications and IV therapy as ordered.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to prioritize care and escalate changes in patient condition promptly.
- Implement procedures within scope of practice, including basic life support measures, wound care, phlebotomy, and IV starts as trained.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record; uphold patient safety, infection control, and privacy standards.
- Participate in shift handoffs, participate in routine and high-acuity events, and adhere to department policies and quality measures.

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in California
- ER or high-acuity care experience preferred
- Ability to work Nights with 12-hour shifts and manage a fast-paced ED environment
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
- Proficiency in clinical documentation and adherence to safety and compliance standards
