Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for ER patients using established standards and the nursing process
- Conduct focused assessments, identify care needs, and develop and implement care plans
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other disciplines to coordinate care and promote patient safety
- Triage and monitor patient status; respond to changes and escalate as needed
- Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and discharge planning; participate in discharge planning

Requirements
- Current RN license in the state of practice (California)
- BLS certification required; ACLS and PALS certifications required (AH or ARC accepted)
- EPIC electronic health record experience required
- At least two years of recent ER nursing experience
- BSN preferred
- Ability to work night shifts and 48 hours per week as assigned
