Overview
Registered Nurse, Emergency Room (ER) travel assignment in Gloucester, Massachusetts. Start date: 10/12/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay: 2,563 to 2,762 per week. Guaranteed hours: 72 biweekly. Responsibilities
- Provide direct, adult ER nursing care including triage, rapid assessment, monitoring, and stabilization of acutely ill or injured patients.
- Administer medications, IV therapies, fluids, and treatments as ordered; interpret telemetry strips and respond to rhythm changes.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, respiratory therapists, and other team members to implement and adjust care plans; document care in the electronic medical record.
- Monitor patient status, ensure safety and comfort, manage equipment, and assist with procedures as needed; assist with discharge planning or admission processes.
- Respond to emergencies using established protocols (ACLS/TNCC guidelines) and participate in ongoing patient and family communication.

Requirements
- Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license
- 2+ years telemetry experience
- 1 year of prior travel nursing experience
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, TNCC; PALS or ENPC (equivalency) also acceptable
- Must be able to read telemetry strips
- Flu vaccine required during onboarding (declinations not accepted)
- Telemetry skills assessment (pass/fail) on first day; failure could affect assignment
- Must have been separated from the most recent employer for at least 6 months
- Float requirements: No
