Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for ER patients according to established standards and the nursing process, with timely reassessment and thorough documentation.
- Supervise and direct activities of nursing staff at multiple levels; coordinate care with physicians and other disciplines to maintain efficient patient flow and safety.
- Assess patient conditions, monitor status, identify changes, and implement individualized care plans using clinical judgment and critical thinking.
- Administer and coordinate prescribed therapies and medications within scope of practice; monitor for adverse events and ensure accurate documentation.
- Educate patients and families, provide discharge planning support, and facilitate transitions of care as appropriate.
- Adapt to the fast-paced ER environment, maintain composure under pressure, and uphold regulatory and policy requirements.

Requirements
- Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license
- ER nursing experience or demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced ER setting
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Ability to work 12-hour day shifts and support a 36-hour work week
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and collaboration skills
- Ability to complete credentialing and onboarding requirements for assignment
