Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care in the Emergency Department, including triage, treatment, and discharge planning for patients from newborns to geriatrics
- Monitor patient status, administer medications and treatments as orders dictate, and respond to changes in clinical condition
- Collaborate with ED clinicians, including physicians, fellow nurses, and CNAs, to deliver timely, evidence-based care
- Document all patient encounters accurately and maintain meticulous and compliant medical records
- Educate patients and families about discharge instructions, follow-up care, and safety precautions
- Adhere to infection control practices, patient safety standards, and hospital policies; participate in continuous quality improvement efforts

Requirements
- ER nursing experience or demonstrated competency in a high-acuity Emergency Department setting
- Ability to perform triage, initial assessment, and urgent interventions across age groups
- Strong communication and teamwork skills; comfortable collaborating with a multidisciplinary ED team
- Availability to work night shifts and participate in a travel assignment
- Willingness to comply with facility policies and CNA-represented unit dynamics
