Registered Nurse, ER in Boston, Massachusetts. Travel assignment begins 10/05/2026 for 14 weeks. Weekly pay range $2,564–$2,675 per week with 48 guaranteed hours. Responsibilities
- Deliver direct, evidence-based nursing care to ED patients, including triage, initial assessment, and ongoing monitoring for adults and select pediatric patients (ages 15+ as applicable).
- Monitor and interpret telemetry rhythm strips; identify rhythm disturbances and respond according to protocol; pass a Telemetry Test on Day 1 with 85% or higher.
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments per physician orders; perform procedures within scope; respond to emergencies with timely, high-quality care.
- Document care in the electronic medical record (EPIC experience preferred); communicate clearly with the care team to maintain patient safety and throughput.
- Collaborate with physicians, APPs, nurses, and ancillary staff; manage patient flow and nurse-patient ratios (typically 1:4–5 depending on acuity).
- Be prepared to float to Psych ED and Pedi ED (ages 15+) as needed, maintaining competency across ED areas.

Requirements
- Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse license in good standing; eligible to practice in MA.
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and PALS (active/unexpired).
- Experience: Minimum 1.5 years of recent Level I/II ED experience or 2+ years of recent Level III/IV ED experience.
- Telemetry proficiency: ability to independently read and interpret rhythm strips; pass Telemetry Test on Day 1 (85%+).
- Education: Completion of an approved RN program; ability to meet licensure requirements to practice as an RN in MA.
- Additional: Ability to work 12-hour night shifts, adapt to a busy ED environment, and float to Psych ED and Pedi ED (ages 15+); EPIC experience is preferred.
