Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for Cath Lab patients according to established standards and the nursing process.
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff; coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams during complex cardiac procedures.
- Collect relevant data, analyze assessments, and develop plans to achieve patient outcomes; implement and evaluate progress.
- Collaborate with physicians, technologists, and other team members to provide a safe, healing, and patient-centered environment.
- Provide patient and family education; participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
- Delegate appropriately and coordinate duties of the healthcare team; contribute to a calm and efficient Cath Lab workflow.

Requirements
- Licenses: Current Registered Nurse license in the state of practice (California)
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) from an approved vendor; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or ARC-ALS
- Cath Lab experience: Must include structural heart, vascular, diagnostic cath, Impella, ECMO, and emergent cath cases
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Experience: Minimum five years of nursing experience with Cath Lab exposure
- EMR: EPIC experience required
- Additional: Current BLS certification and a nursing license per state of assignment; ability to work in a hospital setting and meet travel assignment requirements
