Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nutritional care to patients identified with nutritional risk or special needs, including initial assessment and ongoing reassessment.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized nutrition care plans; adjust recommendations based on patient progress and clinical changes.
- Educate patients and families on nutrition therapy, disease management, and appropriate dietary modifications.
- Communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate nutrition care and advocate for patient needs.
- Document all interventions, progress, and outcomes in the chart in accordance with policy and accepted practice standards.
- Apply evidence-based nutrition care and clinical decision-making to support patient outcomes.

Requirements
- Active Registered Dietitian credential and ability to practice in California.
- Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics or a related field; completion of an ACEND-accredited program.
- 2+ years of clinical nutrition experience in an inpatient care setting preferred.
- Strong assessment, nutrition care planning, documentation, and interdisciplinary communication skills.
- Knowledge of medical nutrition therapy principles and the ability to apply them in clinical care.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a fast-paced, multidisciplinary team.
