Responsibilities
- Aids physicians in diagnosis and treatment of heart, lung, and blood vessel disorders by conducting invasive and non-invasive diagnostic tests of cardiovascular and pulmonary systems.
- Operates x-ray and physiological equipment; performs radiographic procedures as directed.
- Assists with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures related to cardiovascular and pulmonary care.
- Maintains equipment, calibrates devices, and records test results accurately.
- Documents patient information and test results in the health record and communicates findings to the care team.
- Adheres to radiation safety, infection control, and patient safety protocols.

Requirements
- Active radiologic technologist license or eligibility per state requirements.
- ARRT certification or equivalent (or eligibility per state regulations).
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
- Ability to perform invasive and non-invasive cardiovascular and pulmonary diagnostic procedures in a hospital setting.
- Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program.
- Excellent communication and teamwork to support physicians and staff.
