Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic and screening mammography exams as ordered.
- Prepare patients, position tissue appropriately, and operate specialized mammography equipment.
- Assist radiologists with intricate mammography examinations, including breast biopsies, while maintaining patient privacy and comfort.
- Produce high-quality images and document exam results and pertinent information.
- Educate patients about the exam and provide appropriate preparation instructions to patient care areas.
- Adhere to infection control and safety guidelines; escalate issues to senior staff as needed.

Requirements
- Education: Associate degree in Radiologic Technology
- Licenses/Certifications: OBMI Radiologic Technologist License (Oregon); ARRT Radiography (ARRT-R) required; ARRT Mammography (ARRT-M) required (preferred in some regions); Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Experience: At least two years of recent radiology experience; mammography experience preferred
- Additional: Current nursing license per the state of assignment; ability to work in a hospital setting in Portland, OR
