Radiology Tech – Mammography, Portland, Oregon. This travel assignment is a temporary, 13-week engagement beginning 10/19/2026 in a short-term acute care hospital setting. You will earn $2,700 to $2,739 per week with 36 guaranteed hours each week. The shift is a day-based 5x8 schedule, typically 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic and screening mammography examinations as ordered.
- Operate specialized mammography equipment; position patients to obtain high-quality imaging.
- Prepare for and assist the Radiologist with intricate mammography exams, including breast biopsies.
- Educate patients about the exam, maintain patient privacy and comfort, and follow infection control guidelines.
- Document pertinent patient information and communicate preparation instructions to patient care teams.
- Escalate questions or technical concerns to supervising staff when needed.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards for breast imaging.

Requirements
- Education: Associate degree in Radiologic Technology (Required)
- Licenses/Certifications: OBMI Radiologic Technologist License (OR) (Required in OR); ARRT Radiography (Required in OR); ARRT Mammography (Required in OR; preferred in CA and HI)
- Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor (Required)
- Experience: At least two years of recent experience in the field; mammography technologist experience preferred
- General: Ability to work in a hospital setting and to complete a 13-week travel assignment
