Responsibilities
- Perform specialized mammography examinations to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of breast disease.
- Operate mammography equipment and ensure image quality meets department standards.
- Position patients properly, apply radiation safety principles, and comply with ALARA guidelines.
- Document procedures in the patient record and maintain accurate imaging and patient information.
- Collaborate with radiologists and clinical teams, communicating results and any concerns.
- Maintain equipment, participate in quality assurance measures, and ensure a safe, patient-centered environment.

Requirements
- Active radiologic technologist license or as required by the state of Oregon.
- Mammography certification (ARRT-M) or eligibility.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Ability to work in a hospital setting and support a fast-paced clinical environment.
- Education: Degree from an accredited radiologic technology program (associate or higher).
- Experience: Mammography experience preferred; not required if otherwise specified by the hiring facility.
