Responsibilities
- Perform interventional radiology procedures in the cardiovascular lab, including angiography and catheter-based interventions, using fluoroscopy and related imaging equipment.
- Position and prepare patients for procedures; assist physicians with specialized interventional techniques; maintain sterile technique and patient safety.
- Operate digital radiography and fluoroscopy equipment to produce high-quality images; ensure image quality and document procedures per protocol.
- Monitor patient status during procedures; respond to changes in condition and communicate with the care team to support clinical decisions.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to staff on technical skills; participate in ongoing competency development and team collaboration.

Requirements
- Active Radiologic Technologist (RT) license in California (state of practice) required.
- ARRT certification preferred; CPR/BLS certification from an approved vendor required.
- Minimum two years of recent radiology tech experience; experience as a Special Procedures Technologist preferred.
- Education: Associate degree in radiologic technology or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Fluoroscopy (FLUORO) certification required; Hospital Fire and Life Safety (HLFS) training and PVMB/TEAM/CPI or equivalent training required.
- Ability to work a 7:00 PM–7:00 AM night shift and to travel for the assignment as needed.
