Responsibilities
- Perform, assist, and complete Cardiac and Vascular radiographic examinations, including active interventional procedures in the cardiovascular lab.
- Operate diagnostic imaging equipment to produce digital images of the heart and vascular system, including cinefluorography, as ordered by physicians.
- Position and instruct patients for examinations; immobilize as needed and follow established protocols to ensure patient safety and comfort.
- Assist physicians with specialized interventional procedures, including cardiac catheterization, adjusting technical factors and recording imaging sequences.
- Manage contrast administration and monitoring during procedures; document procedures accurately and maintain sterile technique and radiation safety.

Requirements
- ARRT certification (Radiologic Technologist) and active RT license in the state of practice (Required)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification from an approved vendor (Required)
- At least two years of recent experience in the radiology field; Cath Lab or Special Procedures experience preferred
- Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree in radiologic technology or related field preferred
- Hospital Fire and Life Safety (HLFS) training; ability to work in a home healthcare - hospice environment
