Overview
Radiology Tech – Interventional Radiology Tech in Los Angeles, CA. This travel assignment is a 13-week engagement with a start date of 10/12/2026. Weekly pay range: $2,530 - $2,672 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Shift: 3x12-hour nights. Setting: Home healthcare - hospice.

Responsibilities
- Perform and assist with cardiac and vascular radiographic examinations, including active interventional procedures in the cardiovascular lab.
- Operate diagnostic imaging equipment and fluoroscopy to produce digital images of the heart and vascular system as ordered by physicians.
- Position and immobilize patients, ensuring comfort and safety during examinations and procedures.
- Assist physicians with specialized interventional procedures, manage equipment and contrast media as directed.
- Maintain patient care standards, document procedures, and support image archiving and quality improvement efforts.
- Mentor staff on technical skills and contribute to ongoing training and, when appropriate, hiring and promotion discussions.

Requirements
- Education: Associate degree in radiologic technology or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree in radiologic technology or related field preferred.
- Certifications/Licenses: ARRT certification (RT); California Radiologic Technologist license; Fluoroscopy (FLUORO) certification; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor; Hospital Fire and Life Safety (HLFS) training; Prevention and Management of Violent Behavior (PVMB) or equivalent (TEAM/CPI) training.
- Experience: At least two years of recent radiology/interventional experience; interventional radiology experience preferred.
- Other: Current nursing license per the state of assignment; ability to work in a home healthcare - hospice environment; capable of night-shift work.
