Responsibilities
- Perform, assist, and complete Cardiac and Vascular Radiographic examinations and interventional procedures in the cath lab using specialized equipment.
- Operate imaging systems to produce digital radiographs and cinefluorography for guiding cardiovascular interventions; position and instruct patients for examinations.
- Prepare and maintain patient readiness, assist physicians with specialized procedures, and adjust technical factors and contrast administration as directed.
- Monitor patient status during imaging, interpret real-time data (vital signs, pumps, monitors), and alert the physician to changes.
- Enter technical factors and protocol parameters into imaging systems; ensure proper filming sequences and documentation; provide patient education and discharge instructions.
- Maintain infection control, radiation safety, and equipment readiness; participate in on-call coverage as scheduled.

Requirements
- Licenses/Certifications: California Radiologic Technologist (RT) license required; CRT certification required; ARRT certification preferred; BLS/CPR certification from an approved vendor required.
- Education: Associate degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree in radiologic technology or related field preferred.
- Experience: 1–2 years of Cath Lab or interventional radiology experience required; fluoroscopy experience required.
- Other: Ability to work in a cath lab environment; on-call availability (approximately 6–7 days per month); ability to handle contrast injections and operate angiography equipment; strong teamwork and patient communication skills.
