Responsibilities
- Perform CT imaging procedures according to physician orders and departmental protocols, ensuring image quality and patient safety.
- Properly position patients, apply immobilization as needed, and select appropriate scan planes and techniques to optimize diagnostic results.
- Maintain radiation safety practices, verify patient identity, and monitor for any contraindications or reactions related to contrast when indicated.
- Operate the CT scanner and related imaging equipment, perform basic quality checks, and ensure images are correctly labeled and stored in the PACS.
- Communicate findings and any procedural notes with the radiology team, radiologist, and referring staff; document procedures and patient data accurately.
- Collaborate with the imaging team to uphold HIPAA compliance, infection control, and safety standards; support workflow and patient flow in a fast-paced setting.

Requirements
- 2-5 years CT tech experience preferred (as noted for this assignment)
- Ability to work evenings (12:30 PM–9:00 PM)
- Comfortable operating a Canon CT scanner and related imaging equipment
- Strong patient communication and teamwork skills in a fast-paced imaging environment
- Willingness to participate in a 13-week travel assignment
