Responsibilities
- Operate computed tomography (CT) equipment to produce cross-sectional images; perform related radiography procedures as assigned
- Ensure image quality, proper patient positioning, and optimal technique for diagnostic interpretation
- Use PACS and teleradiology systems to transfer images to radiologists and appropriate clinical teams
- Maintain accurate patient records, scheduling, and billing information; uphold HIPAA and patient confidentiality
- Perform routine equipment maintenance and calibration; manage supply inventory and ensure safety

Requirements
- Active California Radiologic Technologist license (CA RT) required
- ARRT certification: RT(R)(CT)(ARRT) or RT(R)(ARRT) required
- Advanced CT certification: required in OR and HI; preferred in CA
- Fluoroscopy license in California required if operating fluoroscopy
- Venipuncture certification required if administering contrast materials
- Associate degree in Radiologic Technology preferred
- Minimum two years of recent radiology experience; current BLS; current nursing license per state of assignment
