Responsibilities
- Operate computed tomography (CT) equipment to produce high-quality cross-sectional images for radiologist interpretation.
- Perform CT procedures and support general radiography and fluoroscopy as needed.
- Prepare patients, verify identity, explain procedures, and ensure patient safety and HIPAA compliance.
- Utilize PACS and teleradiology systems to transfer images to the appropriate location; maintain accurate records and billing information.
- Perform routine maintenance and calibration of imaging equipment; manage supply inventory.
- Assist with contrast administration and venipuncture as required; document procedures and communicate results to the care team.

Requirements
- Active California Radiologic Technologist license with ARRT certification (RT(R)(CT) or RT(R)); fluoroscopy license in California.
- Advanced CT certification (required in OR and HI; preferred in CA).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Venipuncture certification (if performing contrast administration).
- Minimum two years of recent radiology/CT experience; current nursing license per the state of assignment.
- Associate degree in Radiologic Technology (preferred).
