Responsibilities
- Deliver prescribed external beam radiation therapy using Varian TrueBeam systems in accordance with the treatment plan.
- Assist with patient positioning, immobilization, and verification of treatment parameters to ensure accurate delivery.
- Utilize imaging and treatment delivery software (IX and Aria) to plan, verify, and document treatment sessions.
- Monitor patients during treatment, document sessions, and communicate any deviations or concerns to the oncology team.
- Maintain strict adherence to radiation safety, infection control, and regulatory requirements; support accurate charting and record-keeping.

Requirements
- New York state license in radiologic technology in hand
- ARRT registration
- Current BCLS certification
- Graduation from an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology
- Minimum 1 year of radiation therapy experience
- Knowledge of general anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology; ability to work day shift in a hospital setting
- Experience with Varian TrueBeam and Aria software is preferred
