Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy assistant support under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist in a LTAC/long-term care setting.
- Implement and monitor prescribed treatment plans, assist with therapeutic exercises, gait training, transfers, and functional activities.
- Prepare and set up equipment, apply modalities as directed, and ensure patient safety during treatments.
- Document patient progress, response to therapy, and communicate findings to the supervising PT and care team.
- Maintain infection control, device care, and appropriate documentation to support care coordination and discharge planning.
- Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and other staff to optimize patient outcomes and quality of life.

Requirements
- Active Physical Therapy Assistant license in the state of New Hampshire or eligible for licensure.
- Associate degree in Physical Therapy Assisting (or equivalent) commonly required for PTA practice.
- Prior experience in LTAC or skilled nursing settings is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work in a long-term care environment and meet guaranteed hours for the assignment.
- Strong communication and documentation skills; ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
- Successful completion of standard background checks as part of the assignment process.
