Responsibilities
- Plan and conduct comprehensive physical therapy evaluations to establish baseline function
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at restoring and improving physical function and independence
- Deliver therapy interventions using evidence-based techniques and protocols
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care and discharge planning
- Maintain thorough, accurate clinical documentation within established timelines
- Supervise assigned therapy assistants as appropriate and ensure patient safety and quality of care

Requirements
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree: Required; only if obtained license on or after January 2016; or foreign equivalent
- Current Physical Therapy licensure in the state of practice (California): Required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification from an approved vendor: Required
- Two years of Physical Therapy experience: Preferred
- Ability to work in a hospital-based setting and participate in a team-oriented care model
