Responsibilities
- Apply aseptic technique to equipment preparation and assist with procedures, identifying any potential compromise to sterile/high-level disinfection integrity.
- Disassemble, inspect, and identify defective or malfunctioning parts; provide preventive maintenance for all procedure supplies and equipment.
- Perform all pre-cleaning requirements per regulatory standards for endoscopes, including inspection, leak testing, cleaning, high-level disinfection, and identifying needed repairs; follow reprocessing and storage protocols.
- Determine high-level disinfection methods per material or manufacturer instructions; check and calibrate equipment according to protocol.
- Carry out ambulatory technician duties as assigned, such as obtaining and documenting vital signs and transporting patients.

Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience as Endoscopy Tech or GI Lab Tech; travel experience preferred
- Travel experience required
- High-Level Disinfection (HLD) certification highly desired
- Licensure/certification: None required
- Ability to work in a hospital setting
