Responsibilities
- Assist physicians in diagnosing and treating heart, lung, and blood vessel disorders by conducting invasive and non-invasive cardiovascular and pulmonary diagnostic tests.
- Operate x-ray and physiological equipment; participate in diagnostic and therapeutic catheterization procedures as directed.
- Maintain and troubleshoot equipment; document test results and ensure accurate records.
- Adhere to radiation safety standards, including appropriate collimation, shielding, and patient immobilization.
- Uphold sterile technique and infection control practices; follow isolation procedures as required.
- Monitor patient vital signs throughout procedures and respond to physiologic changes as needed.

Requirements
- Licenses/Certifications: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists – Radiography (ARRT-R) required; Radiologic Tech (RT) license in the state of practice (CA) required; current fluoroscopy license required in CA within 6 months of hire.
- Education: Associate’s Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience; preferred.
- Experience: At least two years of recent catheterization laboratory experience; experience with scrubbing and monitoring structural heart, vascular, diagnostic, impella, ECMO, and emergent cath cases preferred.
- Certifications/Security: Current CPR/BLS certification required; active nursing license as required by the state of assignment.
- Additional: CA fluoro experience; EPIC system experience beneficial.
