The role provides general support to the Transportation Department, including vehicle maintenance and fueling. Responsibilities also include assisting with client transportation, emergency responses, and vehicle inspection reports.
Job Description
Scope:
The primary duty of the Transportation Support will be to support the Transportation Department.
This is a part - time position
Essential Duties:
- Fuel and wash vehicles as needed
- Assist Transportation Manager with vehicle repair plan
- Assist with emergency responses
- Assist with staff vehicle inspection reports
- Assist with client transportation as needed
- Assist with staff training as needed
- Related work as requested
Minimum Qualifications:
- Prefer experience with vans and small bus transportation
- Prefer experience with adult developmentally disabled population
- Demonstrate good judgment and professionalism
- CPR/ First Aid Certificate
- Must be able to lift and transfer; up to 50 lbs.
- A valid driver’s license, current vehicle insurance, and an acceptable driving record per SKSF standards.

We offer unique services such as center based and community activities. Our programs include Zach's Place respite and child care center for children ages 2.5-18; Foster Care & Adoption services caring for abused and neglected youth; Specialized respite care & family preservation services; Adult Day programs & Host Home family programs for adults. In addition, our newest program launched in 2019 - Behavorial Health Services.
