Job Summary: As a Transportation Engineering Intern, you’ll work alongside our talented team to tackle complex transportation challenges and develop forward-thinking solutions that enhance community connectivity. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist preparing maps, and creating clear, compelling graphics to support project needs.
- Be introduced to tools like Vistro, GIS, Sidra, Synchro, and SimTraffic to perform traffic impact studies and transportation analyses.
- Conduct parking demand, occupancy, and shared parking studies to help projects optimize parking solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative transportation solutions.
- Become up to date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure project success.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Strong interest in transportation planning and engineering.
- Exposure to data analysis and GIS tools.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A passion for solving transportation challenges.
