Edwards Auto Group, based in Council Bluffs, IA is looking for a reliable Sub-contracted Transport Driver to jour our team. This is an On-call position with availability needed Monday-Friday. This is a great position for a retiree with experience driving large trucks and or heavy equipment. The Transport Driver is paid based on mileage, with flat-rate pay for certain round trip distances. Earning varying pay from $250-$1250+ per week.
Responsibilities
- Secure & Transport vehicles to and from residential & commercial customers including dealer trades etc.
- Load & unload vehicles
- Complete all required paperwork
- Maintain communication throughout each trip
- Take detailed photos of each vehicle before and after transport
Requirements
- MUST have previous OTR trucking or similar driver experience
- CDL license is preferred
- Clean MVR
- Excellent communication skills as you will be working with residential and commercial customers
