Join Modernize - QuinStreet’s home services brand - as our new Trade Manager. Backed by 20 years of industry leadership in online lead generation, we connect homeowners with high–quality contractors across a $500 billion market. Your mission will be to drive growth across our trade categories through seamless cross-functional coordination. By leveraging your category management insights and understanding of both contractor and homeowner needs, you will tackle trade challenges, uncover new opportunities, and directly impact the performance of our trades.

Responsibilities 

• Lead trade-level strategy across the marketplace, managing performance, processes, or both as organizational needs require 
• Analyze trade, source, pricing, and supply performance to identify volume, margin, and efficiency opportunities 
• Convert data and analysis into clear, actionable recommendations for Operations leadership 
• Propose and drive optimization actions across bids, pricing, supply, and lead mix to improve marketplace outcomes 
• Partner with clients and internal stakeholders to find solutions balancing volume, margin, and lead quality 
• Follow up on implemented actions, tracking impact and iterating to sustain results 
• Define and monitor KPIs measuring trade health, throughput, and profitability 
• Build business cases supporting prioritization and investment decisions 
• Champion cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Pricing, and Data teams to execute initiatives 
• Surface operational risks early and recommend mitigations that protect marketplace performance 
• Foster scalable, repeatable processes that make trade management reliable 

 
Requirements 

• Background in supply and demand dynamics, category management, vertical management or account management in ecommerce / marketplace 
• Experience in project management with a proven ability to bring disparate groups together to align on and execute shared goals 
• Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships across diverse teams 
• Solid technical foundations, allowing to successfully interpret and translate requests into actionable technical deliverables 
• Analytical mindset and hands-on experience with Excel and data visualization platforms (such as Tableau or ThoughtSpot), SQL preferred 
• Advanced level of English.
