To Go Service Receptionist

Position Summary: 

The To-Go Service Receptionist is responsible for coordinating the Club’s to-go service by taking orders and assisting members/guests with their to-go orders. This position for various duties; including, but not limited to, greeting members and guests, answering phones, assisting members with general questions, and to-go service. The To-Go Service Receptionist must greet each member and guest with energy, enthusiasm, and a friendly demeanor. This position has a direct impact on the overall experience of our members and guests and plays an integral role in ensuring member/guest satisfaction. 

Responsibilities:

• Greet and direct members/guests in person or over the phone by name when possible.  
• Answer all calls, emails, and orders for to-go service through the app and assist answering questions or direct calls accordingly.
• Effectively handle multiple tasks while maintaining a high level of organization and customer service. 
• Take special meal requests/dietary restrictions/allergies and communicate with the appropriate parties.
• Manage catering orders for home events and major holiday event to-go orders such as Passover, Thanksgiving, etc. 
• Responsible for remaining abreast of daily specials.
• Remain updated on daily events throughout the Club along with when each dining unit is open. 
• Must be personable, enthusiastic, and have a warm friendly demeanor. 
• Communicate orders clearly and accurately by phone, email, and/or through app.
• Must be approachable and accommodating to the needs of members and guests. 
• Work with the delivery team to ensure all orders are accurate and timely. 
• Must be present and attentive to members and they enter the Main Lobby. 
• Listen to and reply to all voicemails at the beginning of every shift.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This position has supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment/Physical Demands:

• Tasks will be performed indoors and outdoors and may be exposed to hot, humid temperatures.
• Requires manual dexterity to use and operate all necessary equipment. 
• Must be able to reach, bend, stoop, kneel, turn, climb, stand and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time.
• Moderate noise level in the work environment.
• Repetitive motion required including computer entry.
• Able to work in refrigerated/freezer areas for an extended period of time.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

Must be flexible and able to work a varying schedule; including evening, weekend, and holidays required as job duties demand. 

Requirements & Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required. 
• Previous Country Club experience preferred, but not required.
• Possesses a desire to provide outstanding member service.
• Excellent attention to detail. 
• Friendly, energetic, and highly motivated.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to multi-task, reasoning, problem solving, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Intermediate knowledge of computers, computer applications: Microsoft Suite products; including Excel, along with the ability to understand and use social media sites, and POS.
• Must have strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Must have a friendly and welcoming personality.
