  • Ensure all materials are accurate, well-structured, and aligned with the leadership team’s priorities.
  • Ensure that leadership team is consistently prepared, well-informed, and proactively aware of upcoming issues and priorities.
  • Draft and manage internal communications on behalf of the leadership team, including firmwide messaging and communications to senior stakeholders, ensuring clarity, alignment, and consistency.

Issue Tracking and Follow-Up

  • Track and manage key projects, actions, deadlines, commitments, and open issues to ensure follow-through and prevent critical items from being overlooked.
  • Proactively flag delays, dependencies, risks, and items requiring escalation.
  • Coordinate updates across multiple stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate information flow.

Executive Project and Initiative Support

  • Provide project-management support for strategic firm projects, including milestone tracking, tracker management, status reporting, and risk and dependency identification.
  • Ensure initiatives remain aligned with leadership intent, expectations, and timelines, translating strategic projects into clear roadmaps and measurable outcomes.
  • Triage priorities and manage competing demands to keep the leadership team focused on the highest-impact activities; partner closely with Administrative Business Partners to optimize calendars and follow-ups.
  • Lead change management efforts for key firm initiatives, including stakeholder alignment, communication planning, and adoption tracking to ensure new processes and priorities take hold.

Data Analysis and Reporting

  • Maintain visibility into performance metrics and progress against key priorities.
  • Analyze operational and financial data to surface trends, risks, and opportunities that inform leadership decisions.
  • Build and maintain reporting tools and dashboards that keep the leadership team consistently prepared, well-informed, and proactively aware of upcoming issues and priorities.

Meeting and Operating Cadence Support

  • Own agenda development, pre-read preparation, content development (including PowerPoint decks) for the firm’s leadership meetings, annual offsite, and Town Halls, partnering with the Administrative Business Partner team on schedule and logistical coordination.
  • Capture and distribute clear, well-structured meeting notes with ownership and next steps.
  • Standardize operating rhythms, templates, and reporting formats to improve consistency and efficiency across the firm’s cadence.

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Serve as a coordination point across teams for leadership requests, information needs, and updates.
  • Ensure information flows efficiently, accurately, and consistently across the firm.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with leaders and stakeholders at TMG and throughout Council Advisors.

What We’re Looking For

Education and Experience

  • 6–8 years of total professional experience, with experience in Strategic Initiatives, either as a strategy consultant or Executive Projects Manager, ideally within a high-performance professional services environment such as consulting, investment banking, private equity, corporate strategy, or a similarly rigorous, fast-paced setting.
  • Demonstrated success collaborating directly with senior executives and driving cross-functional initiatives.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, including executive-level presentation development and data analysis.
  • Expertise in producing status reports, program updates, and executive dashboards.

Skills and Capabilities

Judgment and Discretion

  • Demonstrates exceptional judgment and ability to make sound decisions.
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity, incomplete information, and evolving priorities.
  • Maintains confidentiality, integrity, and resilience in handling sensitive information and stakeholder interactions.
  • Anticipates issues before they surface and proactively identifies potential challenges.

Execution and Communication

  • Proven record of project management, tracking, prioritization, and follow-through.
  • Effectively manages multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Self-starter mentality with a bias toward action and continuous improvement.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills, including storytelling in PowerPoint.
  • Translates complex or ambiguous information into clear, concise, and actionable guidance.
  • Write and edits executive-level communications.

Analytical and Business Acumen

  • Synthesizes complex issues into clear options, insights, and actionable recommendations.
  • Exceptional understanding of business operations, performance metrics, and financial concepts.

Relationship Management

  • Demonstrates strong EQ, executive presence, and stakeholder credibility.
  • Ability to influence without authority, building strong, trust-based relationships across all levels of the organization.

Compensation

A reasonable estimate of the base salary for this position is $140,000 - $190,000, with the potential for additional performance-based earnings.
