Responsibilities

*   Perform high-quality TIG welding operations on a variety of metal components to ensure dimensional precision and structural integrity.
*   Interpret and adhere to complex technical drawings, blueprints, and engineering specifications to execute detailed welding tasks accurately.
*   Prepare metal surfaces through comprehensive cleaning, grinding, and edge preparation prior to the welding process.
*   Inspect finished welds for defects such as cracks, porosity, or incomplete fusion, and perform necessary repairs to maintain quality standards.
*   Maintain a safe and organized work environment by strictly following safety protocols and participating in regular equipment maintenance schedules.
*   Collaborate with engineering and production staff to optimize fabrication processes and resolve technical challenges.
*   Monitor the condition of welding equipment and inventory levels of consumables, promptly reporting any malfunctions or shortages.

Requirements

*   Proven experience in metal manufacturing, with specialized expertise in TIG welding techniques.
*   Strong understanding of welding metallurgy, joint designs, and appropriate filler metal selection.
*   Ability to read and interpret detailed technical schematics and engineering drawings with accuracy.
*   Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail to consistently produce precise welds.
*   Unwavering commitment to workplace safety and full adherence to all occupational health and safety regulations.
*   Valid TIG welding certification is highly preferred.
*   Capacity to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment while meeting strict deadlines.
