Ticket Sales - Intern, Ticket Sales and Service

Principal Function

This position provides the opportunity to experience the intricacies of ticket sales and service in the NFL while developing and strengthening professional skills and attributes.  The Intern, Ticket Sales & Service assists with the administration of the day-to-day operations for the Ticket Sales & Service department and provides accurate leads, sales tracking, and exceptional customer service to both existing and prospective clients.

The position is approximately four to six months in length and usually commences around the months of January, May, and/or September.

Summary of Duties and Functions

• Respond to customer service calls promptly via email and over the phone.
• Manage lead generation, research, and distribution processes.
• Assist with sales tracking and various other projects.
• Support department at Dallas Cowboys home games and other events at AT&T Stadium.
• Other duties as assigned by the Sales Manager.

Qualifications

• Must be available to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.

• Able to commit to 30 hours per week for the duration of the internship.

• Undergraduate or graduate student in Business, Sport Management, or a related field preferred.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) preferred.

• Strong work ethic and sense of urgency and tenacity.

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, time management, and organizational skills; ability to communicate effectively at all levels both internally and externally.
• Able to demonstrate flexibility and quickly adapt to changes while maintaining high levels of productivity and effectiveness under pressure.
• Able to work well within a team environment, offer assistance, and support team members whenever necessary.

• Able to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
