Ticket Office Sales Associate

Job Description

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

May include, but not limited to:

• Understand the functions and operations of the Etix System

• Sell all types of ticket orders and GHG gift cards in person at the ticket office

• Process group and other orders for all events held at the Event Center

• Check IDs and fulfill will call orders and incentive pick ups

• Maintain good customer relations and service

• Maintain accuracy in financial transactions

• Provide information to patrons regarding events, ticket policies, and arena facts

• Answer customer inquiries in person and over the phone

• Assist in enforcement of building policies and procedures for patrons

• Assist in sorting, logging, and returning lost-and-found items

• Attend staff training

WHAT YOU NEED FOR THIS POSITION:

• Excellent skills in customer relations, communications and problem solving

• Cash handling experience

• Sales and customer service experience preferred

• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends

• Ability to work morning and afternoon shifts including some weekdays

• Able to sit or stand for long periods of time, up to 8 hours or more

• Able to stoop and bend

• Occasionally able to lift up to 40 pounds

• Able to comply with safety standards
