Job DetailsJob Location: Brimley Link - Brimley, MI 49715Position Type: Part TimeSalary Range: $16.00 - $16.00 HourlyKett Engineering is currently seeking a hardworking, detail oriented, and team contributing test drivers for 1st, 2nd or weekend shifts on behalf of our client based out of a test center in Brimley. This project is looking for candidates to begin immediately. All applicants must meet the minimum criteria below.
Shift Times:
1st shift: 4:00 am - 12:30 pm
2nd shift: 4:00 pm - 12:30 am
Saturday/Sunday: 4:00 am - 12:30 pm
** SHIFTS CAN RUN 8 - 10 HOURS **
Job Summary:
The test driver will operate technically advanced pre-production vehicles as part of a team on public roads while performing a full vehicle evaluation for each drive cycle. The test driver will be responsible for identifying any issues in relation to the powertrain, quality of build, functionality and design of vehicle systems, and any other vehicle related items.
Job Responsibilities:
Complete a full vehicle evaluation and complete a clear and concise report and any other records for each vehicle during assigned shift.
Drive on designated routes for 8-10 hour shifts while performing test procedures.
Participate in all vehicle testing including but not limited to driving and designated special tests.
Operate vehicles in an extremely safe manner, obeying all laws of the road.
Maintain safety and security procedures.
Must be comfortable driving in inclement weather.
