Ellie Mental Health is looking for an Outpatient Therapist to provide remote care in Tennessee. If you’re passionate about helping people, enjoy thinking outside the box, and believe a little humor can go a long way, you might fit right in.

First Things First: Who Is Ellie?
Ellie Mental Health started in 2015 when Erin Pash, LMFT, and Kyle Keller, LICSW, opened the very first Ellie clinic in Minneapolis.
Fast-forward a bit, and the Ellie Fam has grown into a nationwide community of locally owned and operated clinics.
From day one, the goal has been simple: make mental health care more accessible and reduce the stigma surrounding it.
There are plenty of barriers in mental health care. We’d rather spend our energy figuring out how to knock those barriers down.

Your Typical Ellie Day

There’s no magic formula for being a great therapist, so we’re not looking for someone who follows one.

Instead, you’ll have the opportunity to:

• Complete diagnostic assessments and evaluate client needs
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Provide meaningful outpatient therapy
• Use creative interventions to help clients reach—and sometimes exceed—their goals
• Complete case notes, treatment plan reviews, diagnostic updates, and other required documentation
• Submit session documentation according to company guidelines
• Maintain a minimum of 27 client visits per week for full-time clinicians
• Coordinate care with case managers, families, employers, medical professionals, schools, and other Ellie team members when appropriate
• Build positive relationships with clients and provide an excellent overall experience
• Participate in clinical staff meetings and trainings
• Handle the occasional “other thing we forgot to put on the list but is totally important” responsibility 😉

What Do You Bring to the Ellie Couch?

You’ll need:

• A master's degree in behavioral sciences or a related field from an accredited college or university
• Clinical licensure in Tennessee, such as LMFT, LPC, LCSW, LP, or another applicable license
• Experience completing diagnostic assessments
• Experience creating treatment plans and clinical case notes
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• The ability to demonstrate and maintain appropriate professional boundaries
• Strong organization and follow-through with documentation
• Comfort working with a diverse client population
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and electronic health record systems
• Valant experience is a plus
• Fully licensed clinicians are ideally credentialed with insurance panels
