Temporary Part-Time Recruiter

Mission Yogurt is looking for a proactive, people-focused Temporary Part-Time Recruiter to join our team and provide recruiting support during a high-volume hiring period as we get ready to open 3 new locations inside the Denver Airport. 

This is a temporary assignment designed to provide additional recruiting support for Mission Yogurt during a busy period of growth and hiring. The ideal candidate is friendly, organized, and enjoys connecting with people. Prior recruiting or HR experience is helpful but not required. We're looking for someone who is comfortable talking with candidates, can manage multiple priorities, and is excited to help keep the hiring process moving. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in recruiting and human resources.

In this role, you will work closely with our Recruiting and Operations teams to support staffing needs across multiple locations. You'll help identify and engage candidates, coordinate interviews, participate in recruiting events, and provide a positive experience for candidates and hiring managers throughout the process.

Mission Yogurt, Inc. is a boutique hospitality company that operates restaurants primarily in high-traffic airports, including Denver, San Diego, and John Wayne Airports. Mission operates a wide range of concepts, including fast food, fast-casual, and full-service restaurants and bars.

What You'll Do

• Support recruiting efforts across departments and locations during a high-volume hiring period.

• Review, process, and track applications and candidate submissions.

• Conduct initial phone screens for entry-level positions and help identify qualified candidates.

• Maintain timely and friendly communication with candidates throughout the hiring process.

• Assist with posting and advertising open positions.

• Help coordinate interviews and keep candidates moving through the recruiting process.

• Support and assist with new team member orientations and onboarding activities.

• Maintain accurate candidate information and ensure confidentiality of candidate and employee information.

• Provide general support to the Recruiting and HR teams as needed.

• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

What We're Looking For

• Some recruiting, HR, customer service, hospitality, or administrative experience preferred, but not required.

• Comfortable talking with candidates by phone and asking screening questions.

• Friendly, professional, and able to create a positive candidate experience.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to keep track of multiple candidates and tasks.

• Reliable and able to follow through on commitments and deadlines.

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities may change.

• Able to work independently while also being part of a collaborative team.

• Basic computer skills and comfort learning new systems and technology.

• Experience with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace is helpful.

• Good judgment and the ability to handle candidate and employee information confidentially.

• Recruiting or high-volume hiring experience, particularly in restaurants, hospitality, or another hourly workforce environment, is a plus.

• Most importantly, a positive attitude, strong people skills, and a willingness to jump in and help wherever needed.

You’ll be successful in this role if you’re comfortable connecting with candidates by phone, staying on top of multiple tasks, and jumping in to support the Recruiting team during a busy hiring period.

This is a hands-on support role where your ability to communicate well, stay organized, follow through, and create a positive experience for candidates will make a meaningful impact as we welcome a large number of new team members to Mission.

Assignment Details

• Position: Temporary Part-Time Recruiter

• Schedule: Part-time; approximately 20 hours per week

• Location: Westminster, CO and Denver Airport

• Pay: $26/hr. 

This is a temporary assignment created to provide additional recruiting support during a high-volume hiring period. 

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to work on your feet for up to 12 hours. Position requires prolonged sitting, standing, bending, stooping, twisting, reaching overhead, and lifting products and supplies weighing 20 pounds, and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds, as well as repetitive hand and wrist motion.
